Amos Pewter is synonymous with excellence in design and craftsmanship. Their artists understand the value of quality craftsmanship. Since the company's beginnings in 1974, the artisans at Amos have been making pewter gifts and keepsakes to last a life time. Their studio is housed in an old boat building shop (circa 1880) and as such sits on the ocean. The designs for their pieces are inspired by nature and their beautiful seaside surroundings. Molten pewter is cast into jewelry, picture frames and ornaments. Pewter discs are spun on a lathe into vases and candlesticks. At Amos Pewter, designers and craftspeople put the spotlight on the skills and techniques that have been used by pewter makers for decades. In the Amos workshop, honoured traditions of the craft are practiced alongside technologies of the modern world.
