Jill Franklin is a young entrepreneur who has been building her chocolate dream since the spring of 2004.
At that time, she discovered within herself a passion to work with chocolate and has not looked back. Jill Franklin believes in using some of the best chocolate the world has to offer, mixing it with fine ingredients and filling her boxes with handmade creations that everyone will adore.
Jill learned her craft through Ecole Chocolat (Canada) and has received certificates for training in the Professional Chocolatier program, the Master Chocolatier Program, and in the Quality Assurance Program.
The chocolate and caramel recipes Jill uses have been developed over the past 10 years. Many have remained unchanged since the beginning, but Jill is always experimenting, learning, and developing something new.
Jill began her chocolate production in Halifax, but eventually decided to return home to Cape Breton. You can now find her creating delectable treats for her Chocolate Cafe at the Iona Heights Inn.
