Kettlegrove Soapworks was started in 2004 by Cindy Rice, she made a variety of spa quality goat's milk soaps from her home in PEI. Around the same time Cindy was looking at retiring, Stephanie Compton was on maternity leave and thought this would be a great business for her to take on and stay at home with the kids. Cindy took Stephanie on as an apprentice for a year to get her ready to take over the business and then in the fall of 2015 Stephanie and her family officially took over Kettlegrove Soapworks. Today the soaps are still produced the same way on their family blueberry farm. Like most family businesses everyone helps out and it keeps them hopping!
