1. Found throughout Canada and the Eastern United States, house hippos are very timid creatures and are rarely seen. Coming out only at night in search of food, water and materials like lint or lost string to build their nests. The favourite foods of the house hippo are chips, raisins, and the crumbs from peanut butter on toast.
Starting with her drawings, Erin hand carves each design into a printing block that is then rolled with fabric ink + pressed onto the canvas.
Hands on from start to finish, each pressing results in subtle unique differences, making each print one-of-a kind!
